This blog was born through the pain and tears of not knowing what to cook. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of recipes I like, many more I want to try, yet, when I walk through the supermarket alleys with my carnivore boyfriend sometimes my mind goes absolutely blank.

We kept saying we need to write a book with our favourite recipes so we never have that problem again.

Voilà moment?

Here it comes then, a solution to the challenge of sharing your life with plant-based partner. It could quite possibly be the only vegetarian blog out there that shares recipes for real beef burgers (as well as the faked pulled pork made of jackfruit) so you can choose whatever you fancy that day without ever compromising on taste. Just because your partner is plant-based, it doesn’t mean you have to change your diet too (just to warn you though, you will probably find out you quite like few vegetarian meals).

A lot of recipes here are purely vegan/vegetarian but there are also flexitarian options included so you can easily whip dinner for two that have different protein preferences without making completely separate meals.
